Die dritte Mannschaft des FCW kommt in Drommershausen unter die Räder und wartet weiter auf das erste Erfolgserlebnis.
Waldbrunn III spielte in der ersten Halbzeit auf Augenhöhe, ließ aber die Durchschlagskraft vermissen. Auch Drommershausen brachte im Spiel nach vorne zunächst nicht viel zu Stande, ehe der bis dato schönste Angriff zum 1:0 durch Nico Demmer (21.) führte. Diesen Vorsprung verdienten sich die Hausherren vor allem nach dem Wechsel. Mit einem Doppelschlag war die Partie entschieden (53.). Zwar steckte Waldbrunn III nie auf und verkürzte auf 4:2 (80.), doch Youngster Frederik Hardt machte mit seinem zweiten Treffer den Deckel drauf (82.).
